Campbelltown Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Scrub Scout Anaesthetics and Recovery Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Team on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a caring and supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown. Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres 48 Surgical beds 15 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse -responsibilities will include:

• Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation

• Deliver evidence based nursing care

• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

• Ensure patient and staff safety

• Supervise direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)

• Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient

• Document into the patients medical record objectively clearly concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology

Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration with AHPRA

• 18 months minimum experience as an RN Scrub Scout

• Working with Children check (if relevant)

• Commitment to Quality Patient Care

• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Works well independently and within a team

• Basic computer skills

If successful your pay will be based on EBA23 - Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF NSW Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement with an hourly rate ranging between$40.26 - $56.54 per hour.
