Join ARMA as a Senior Collections Officer

Subiaco WA Full-Time Experienced Collections Professional

Take your collections career to the next level with ARMA Group an ASX-listed leader in credit management. Were looking for an experienced and results-driven professional to join our high-performing Consumer team helping customers find sustainable solutions while delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients. The position focuses on complex collections activity customer resolution compliance mentoring and supporting team performance.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Managing inbound and outbound collections calls
  • Negotiating payment arrangements to achieve positive outcomes for both customers and clients
  • Resolving complex customer enquiries and handling objections effectively
  • Identifying vulnerable customers and working closely with Financial Hardship teams to provide appropriate support
  • Supporting the Team Leader and Operations Manager in delivering a team-focused approach to all collection activities
  • Assisting the Team Leader with onboarding and on-phone training of new employees
  • Maintaining compliance with all industry regulations legislation and company policies
  • Achieving and exceeding KPI quality and performance targets
  • Acting as a role model for professionalism attendance compliance and customer service excellence

What Youll Need:

  • Previous collections or debt recovery experience
  • Strong negotiation objection-handling and conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced KPI-driven environment
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and multiple systems simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with collections platforms such as TCN and Collexus will be highly regarded.
