Mental Health Integrated Care Manager

About the role

Werelooking for a Mental Health Integrated Care Manager to lead a dynamic team and CapitalHealth Networks (CHN) Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Program. The Managerwill work collaboratively with CHN business units and external stakeholders todevelop and deliver projects and programs that improve mental health serviceand system integration. You will also manage staff performance and team-levelresources and budgets to support program objectives and maintain oversight of servicecontracts and commissioning activities across mental health program areas.

Youll play acrucial role in delivering activities in line with the ACT Regional MentalHealth and Suicide Prevention Plan and Commonwealth funding requirements.

About the team

Reporting to SeniorManager Health System Integration the Mental Health Integrated Care Managersits within the Health System Integration business unit. This business unitdelivers a range of projects and programs focused on integration andcoordination across the health system and further collaborates with otherbusiness units to support and enable commissioning and capacity building acrossthe ACTs primary care sector.

You are a skilledleader with experience in managing a small team to deliver high impact projectsin a complex environment. You will have a strong background in mental health suicideprevention alcohol and other drugs regional planning primary care healthsystems or other relevant fields. Youll spend time building and maintainingstrategic partnerships with key sector stakeholders including policy makers subjectmatter experts peak bodies service providers and community members to deliverprojects identify gaps monitor trends and emerging issues and evaluate outcomes.

Your leadership management experience stakeholder engagement skills and experience in health sector will contribute to local delivery of national health policy and support CHNsstrategic objectives specifically coordinating and integrating care through:

• delivering solutions that improve access and experience of care
• designing and delivering integrated models of carethat address local needs
• improving coordination and communication across thehealth system
• building collaborative networks across the ACT.

Work location

This position is based in ournewly renovated and modern office located in the heart of the Belconnen town support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy to workwith the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.
