Maintenance Officer

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager our Maintenance Officeris responsible fordelivering general maintenance and repairs of buildings fixtures and fittingsHomesand associated structuresin accordance withthe Home Maintenance Plan to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residentsstaffand visitors.

• Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility

• Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors

• Ensure an aestheticcompliantand safe working environment

• Ensure maintenance and repairs of property including facilities including cleaning painting lighting maintenance TV installations hanging paintings disposal of rubbish checking andmaintainingair conditioning tiling basic plumbing furniture removal and general repairs

• Ensure planned maintenance ofHomeassetsareexecutedin accordance withthe Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements

• Ensure all maintenance activitycomplies withrelevant legislation

• Use preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and follow workflow procedures

• Carry-out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines

To be successful you will have:

Hands on experience of building maintenance work and procedures.

• Min 2years experiencein a similar role

• Experience in Contractor Management

• Experience in managing site maintenance budgets workordersand requisitions

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Knowledge & application of relevant legislation requirements codes & standards

• Moderate Computer literacy

• Current drivers licence

• A pre-employment medical assessment will befor this role

• Prior to commencement - complete aNational PoliceCheckand or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
