About The Opportunity

Programmed Electrical Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Audio Visual Commissioning Technician to join our high-performing team in Artarmon Sydney. This is a fantastic chance to be part of an innovative technology team delivering advanced video conferencing and communication solutions to a diverse client base.

In this pivotal role you will take ownership of installing commissioning testing and maintaining AV systems ensuring every solution is delivered to the highest quality standards. You will bring your technical expertise to life in client environments playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional user experiences and successful project outcomes.

Nature of position: Full-Time

Location: Artarmon NSW

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical input to projects from conception through installation and completion
• Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when needed
• Identify and rectify any technical issue that prevents delivering the scope of works
• Perform quality checks on site and ensure quality meets programmed standards
• Complete project handover including system commissioning user testing and user training
• Interpret documentation to assist in the delivery of complex AV systems

About You

To join our team you will be an experienced commissioning technician with a passion for AV technology and a can-do attitude. Additionally you will have

• Previous experience as an Audio-Visual Technician is advantageous
• A passion to provide and execute high quality work at all times
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in faced passed environments
• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality environmental occupational health and safety management systems.
