Join the PAMS Team
Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is seeking a Utilities Officer to help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment across our clinic accommodation and operational premises in Newman.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of clinic accommodation and other PAMS facilities.
- Maintain clinical and non-clinical areas to infection control and accreditation standards.
- Prepare and clean accommodation for visiting services including linen management.
- Respond to additional cleaning requests as required.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the line manager.
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices including the safe use of cleaning products.
- Understanding of cleanliness standards within a healthcare environment.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and maintain cleaning supplies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of and ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
