Whatyoullbe doing in this role
The San has one of the largest theatre departments in Australia with 19 operating theatres including a Da Vinci robot system an orthopaedic joint replacement robot and supports our emergency care department meaning thatthereslots of variety to keep you busy!
We areseekinga dedicated and detail-orientedadministratortobe responsible forentering andvalidatingthe theatre and Day Procedure bookings for upcoming to the Theatre Bookings Manager andwork with yoursupportive and engaged team to ensureoptimalscheduling and resource communicate requirements to relevant departmentsmaking sure everything runs smoothlyand cover other general administration duties such as thefront reception deskresponding to phone and email enquiriesdataentryand organising patient files.
This is a busy and varied role where your proactive approach andattention to detailwill drivemaximumutilisation of theatre time and resources enhancing the efficiency and impact of the perioperative environment.
Full-time and part-time positions are available ideally 8am-4pm(but open to discussion).
Whowerelooking for
- Previousexperience in a similar clerical or administrative role is essential with knowledge of Medical Terminology highly regarded.
- A systematic and organised approach with the ability to multitask under pressuremaintainexcellent attention to detail and see tasks through to completion isrequired. Experience in scheduling and matching services to requests will be highly valued.
- Strong computer literacy and advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office 365 are essential.
- Youllbe collaborative adaptable and be able to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to take feedback and adjust to changing needs and priorities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Youllbe a people person with strong customer service skillsandprepared to embrace Adventist Healthcares everyday values of excellence and integrity.
