About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Specialist with a strong technical and operational understanding to join our Kalgoorlie Sales Team. You will play a pivotal role managing andleveragingexisting client relationships andidentifyingopportunities with new clients to increase sales capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop professional and long-term business relationships with key customer decision makers
- Ensure prompt & courteous service to meet the needs of both internal & external customers
- Master in-depth product and technical knowledge
- Identifyand implement tailored sales strategies that establish NPE as the preferred supplier to our target market
- Develop andmaintaineffective systems to capture & monitor market intelligence customertrendsand competitor activity
- Meet delivery deadlines to achieve installation dates/deadlines
- Prepare quotes for client enquiries purchase orderreceiptingand other financial activities to accurately record quotations and actual sales data
- Respond to internal customer and external supplier inquiries about order status changes or cancellations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to both secure and deliver our specialist rental services and associated projects ina timelysafeand profitable manner
- Undertake regular travel to assigned sales territories includingovernight stays where required to maintain customer relationships identifynew business opportunities support project delivery and drive sales of up to one week per month is an inherent requirement of the role.
Skills and Experience (Essential):
5 Years experience in the rental heavyindustryor resources sector (preferably in a sales function)
Existing client base or contracts would be consideredadvantageous
Demonstratedexperience in contract management
Knowledge of equipment and plant range of pumps generators or compressors (or similar transferrable product knowledge)
Exceptional communicationnegotiationand influencing skills
Proven ability to manage outcomes and expectations with senior business leaders and key stakeholdersmaintainingstrong professional relationships
Results driven solutions focused and highlyorganised with a strong analytical capability
Ability to adapt learn quickly and deliver under pressure to meet deadlines
