About the Role

Reporting to the Configuration Supervisor the role of Configuration Lead will assist in leading a multi-skilled team in the development planning and coordination of programs and activities necessary to seamlessly alter the configuration of critical facilities infrastructure systems and equipment.

This is an integral role within a diverse and complex work environment that is responsible for the management and control of critical infrastructure configuration and is a key advisor of the Project O&M and customer teams across the Program Site.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with the oversight of facilities infrastructure being provided to the Operations building.

• Assist in the management and control of critical infrastructure configuration and associated documentation ensuring change management practices are being followed.

• Leadership role with a team in the planning coordination of programs and activities systems and equipment execution and administration of tasks in support of critical infrastructure management and changes including hands on electrical work cable and fiber install and troubleshooting.

• Provide a professional service in the supervision of an allocated team including responsibility for planning organizing coordinating scheduling training mentoring and resource and performance management.

• Review and provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems from general concepts through to detailed IFC designs.

• Support the integration coordination compilation and communication of technical information recommendations and advice relevant to facility infrastructure systems and equipment.

• Prepare develop update and manage documentation relevant to facility standard configuration.

• Maintain health and safety within the workplace by promoting safety awareness initiatives discussions and trainings encouraging a safety focused culture and participating and reviewing risk assessments

• Reporting of power and cooling requirements ensures that Configuration Supervisor remains across requirements and deliverables for the facilities infrastructure.

• Review of planned works and oversight of facilities infrastructure changes

• Accountable for the efficient functioning of their team including the oversight and execution of critical system con-figuration changes while ensuring high levels of service are maintained.

• Ensure that the configuration management function is delivered in a manner that maximizes equipment availability while minimising mission risk.

About You

• US recognized Master Electricians License BICSI or similar cabling design and install certification

• Minimum 5 years experience in the electrical

• field with strong background incommunications cabling and troubleshooting

• Understanding of data center/critical powerenvironment

• US recognized Journeyman Electrical License

• Ability to obtain ACMA Open Cablingregistration with endorsements optical fiberstructured cable coaxial

• Ability to obtain Australian White Card

• Project management/planning experience and Configuration management experience

• Power generation and distribution with experience in Load management and Data centre power systems

• Building management and control systems

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Analytical capability to assess technical and project impacts

• Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional processes

• Technical background in engineering design systems engineering or production
