About the role
The Allied Health Project Officer(AHPO) role provides leadership coordination advocacy education and developmentof allied health partnerships to influence and support the integration of theallied health sector within primary care. The Project Officers objectives willbe guided by the 10-Year Primary Health Care Plan Strengthening MedicareTaskforce Report and the National PHN Allied Health in Primary Care EngagementFramework to strengthen our engagement with the allied health sector within theACT.
About the team
Reporting to Senior Manager PrimaryCare Integration the role sits within the Primary Care Integration BusinessUnit. The teams core focus is to support primary care in the ACT in datadriven continuous quality improvement activities and works closely with generalpractices and primary care workforce within the ACT to provide support on arange of initiatives and proprieties. The team also works in collaboration withinternal CHN teams to deliver high quality education to practices and fostersnetworking opportunities to deliver person-centred care at the right time andat the right place.

The successfulapplicant will have a good understanding of the allied health and generalpractice environments within the ACT and will work across the allied healthsector using their project management and change management skills to supportthe planning and implementation of data-driven digitally enabled value-basedmultidisciplinary models of care in primary care.
Youll spend timeworking closely with internal CHN teams allied health professionals andgeneral practices within the ACT to guide the development of CHNs Allied HealthEngagement and Communication Plan. You will also support the gathering of informationabout allied health within the ACT and apply strong research and evaluation skillsto identify opportunities and gaps to generate insights that support the rolesobjectives.
As part of workingat an innovative organisation you will also have an opportunity contribute to processimprovement and broader CHN projects and initiatives and work closely acrossall business units within CHN.
Work location
This position is based in ournewly renovated and modern office located in the heart of the Belconnen towncentre. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy towork with the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.
