About the role
We are looking for reliable Aged Care Support Workers to support older people living independently in their own this role you will help clients with everyday tasks personal care and social support allowing them to stay safe comfortable and connected in their community.
We have shifts available based on client demand Monday Friday 6am 6pm.
Duties will include:
Travelling between client homes within your local area including Sutherland Banksia Kirrawee Kogarah Sylvania Bexley and surrounding suburbs.
Providing personal care such as showering grooming and hygiene.
Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks.
Supporting clients with shopping appointments and social outings.
Observing and reporting changes in a clients wellbeing.
Following individual care plans and completing basic documentation
Skills and Requirements
Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance is mandatory.
Certificate III IV or Diploma in Aged Care Home Care Disability or related field
Current First Aid Certificate
Clear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients
Reliable punctual and committed to quality care.
Availability to meet client needs within Monday - Friday.
Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately.
Experience with mobility aids or hoists (desirable).
