Senior Systems Administrator
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our client and play a key role in maintaining, optimising, and evolving their IT infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently lead projects while supporting business critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Maintain system security, backups and redundancy strategies
- Monitor system performance and proactively improve availability
- Manage escalated issues impacting business operations
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support users, including occasional after-hours assistance
- Lead and contribute to IT projects and initiatives
- Design, implement and document new and existing systems
About You
- Strong experience in a 2nd/3rd level Systems Administrator role (5+ years preferred)
- Solid Microsoft stack expertise (7+ years preferred) (Windows Server, O365, Exchange, AD/Azure)
- Experience with Citrix (XenApp, Workspace, XenMobile)
- Knowledge of cloud/virtual environments and modern identity (AAD, SSO, MFA)
- Proven project delivery experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously

Qualifications
- Microsoft/Citrix certifications (or equivalent)
