Corporate Legal Assistant | Melbourne CBD
We’re currently partnering with a number of well-regarded law firms across Melbourne CBD to recruit experienced Corporate Legal Assistants.
These opportunities offer the chance to support high-performing Corporate and Commercial teams within reputable firms, working alongside Partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of matters, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Banking & Finance, Corporate Advisory and Commercial Transactions.
The Role Responsibilities may include:
Diary and inbox management
Preparing, amending and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Supporting M&A transactions, including due diligence, document management and coordinating signing and completion processes
Assisting with Banking & Finance matters, including loan and security documentation, settlements and conditions precedent
File and matter management
Billing, timesheets and monthly reporting
Liaising with clients, financial institutions and external stakeholders
Coordinating document execution and transaction completions
General administrative and secretarial support to Partners and lawyers
About You To be successful, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally within a Corporate or Commercial practice
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive and professional approach
