ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a permanent position on a 7:7 dayshift roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.

As the Electrical Maintenance Technician (HV Linesperson), you will be responsible for executing electrical maintenance across HV/LV systems, fixed plant and infrastructure in line with work management processes and safety standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Maintain, install and commission HV/LV supply, transmission and distribution networks
• Perform electrical works on fixed plant, mobile generation and infrastructure systems
• Support power and lighting needs across buildings, accommodation and facilities
• Fault-find, analyse and repair electrical systems and equipment

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Electrical maintenance across transmission and distribution networks
• HV switching and coordination
• Strong safety focus and collaborative team approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP or other CMMS

Qualifications for this position are:

• Trade certificate – Electrical (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)
• Trade Certificate – Linesperson
• NT ‘A’ Grade Electrical Workers Licence
• HV switching and coordination (within the last 2 years)
• HR Class Drivers licence
• EWP, Working at Heights (within the last 2 years)
