Exciting opportunity with a well-established & QLD owned property developer who deliver retail & commercial projects across Brisbane. This progressive and award-winning business own their land design build and manage the commercial builds.
With a strong portfolio of projects and requiring further safety resources they are currently looking for a Site Safety Officer to support projects South of Brisbane ranged between $20M - $30M. Projects consist of multiple stages: planning civils built to practical completion .
As Safety Officer reporting into the Project Manager you will play a key role within the construction team. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To be successful you must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years safety experience on commercial projects. Working within live retail environments is highly desirable. Minimum requirement of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) and white card. Strong team player with the ability to work well with the construction team build relationships and rapport at all levels encouraging and effectively promoting a safe working environment. Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and proficient with Microsoft suite. HammerTech experience or similar highly desirable.
