About The Role

Access Aged Care is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to provide on-site care within Residential Aged Care Homes in Rutherford and surrounds.

This opportunity offers weekday hours only with no after-hours weekends or on-call requirements. With dedicated after-hours support in place you can switch off between sessions and protect your personal time.

You will work with a consistent cohort of residents allowing you to deliver proactive relationship-based care and build meaningful long-term clinical relationships.

An Access Aged Care Nurse supports your rounds residents and follow-up care helping coordinate care plans investigations and communication with homes so your sessions run smoothly and efficiently.

Supported by telehealth geriatricians physicians and specialists you will have trusted backup for complex clinical decision-making and preventative resident care - helping identify and address issues early before they escalate into avoidable deterioration or hospital presentations.

Our integrated model includes shared clinical records streamlined systems and dedicated practice support reducing paperwork coordination and operational burden so you can focus on what matters most - less paperwork better medicine.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner.
• RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
• Availability of 1-2 days per week with opportunity to increase.
• Comfortable with technology including system-based reporting and common clinical software.
• A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this role.
