What you will be doing in this role
Working as a full-time Neurosurgical Unaccredited Trainee you will work under the supervision of Neurosurgery Specialists to provide care for patients with acute and chronic neurosurgical conditions.
The Neurosurgery Department at the San provides an exciting opportunity to work in an environment with first-class facilities and a great team of medical nursing and allied health staff.

About Us
The San has a unique commitment to health workforce education. Through partnerships with the ANU Faculty of Medicine and Avondale College of Higher Education Faculty of Nursing the hospital is an education hub with a purpose-built clinical school on site training medical nursing and allied health students.
The hospital offers the latest services and facilities including 23 operating theatres and endoscopy suites 3 cardiac catheterisation laboratories 24x7 Emergency department intensive care and coronary care units renal dialysis unit rehabilitation and sleep studies units and a leading multi-disciplinary Integrated Cancer Centre.
Dedicated to being at the forefront of technology the San has a prominent robotic surgery unit state-of-the-art hybrid operating theatre and the latest in surgical and diagnostic imaging.
What to expect
Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments. These vary and will include professional references a national police check working with children check vaccination evidence among others.
