Are you a recent Accounting graduate looking to build a successful career in public practice? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our team and gain hands-on experience within our Business Advisory division.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced professionals, develop your technical skills, and gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Graduate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our client engagements while developing your knowledge of accounting, taxation, and compliance requirements.

• Preparation of yearend financial statements for various companies, trusts partnerships
• Preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation for client engagements.
• Compliance with regulatory standards and preparing reports in line with the Australian accounting and auditing standards;
• Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity statements (IAS)

About you:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable

• Previous work experience in Professional Services
