Medtronic Neurovascular develops and markets market-leading medical technology services and solutions to treat patients afflicted with Acute Ischaemic Stroke and Haemorrhagic Stroke worldwide. Join our established passionate and supportive Neurovascular sales team lead a successful region and truly make a difference in patients lives.

Reporting into theRegional Business Director the Regional Sales Manager will lead drive and empower the sales team across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to success. Your natural ability to connect and communicate will be essential to success in the role. You will demonstrate Neurovascular expertise and you will maintain strong and ethical business relationships with customers to encourage usage of our products and achieve business targets for the ANZ region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Plans directs and monitors the activities of the sales team across ANZ to achieve established sales targets.

• Develops and/or implements business strategies for existing and potential accounts.

• Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales team in order to implement the organizations overall sales strategy for an assigned region.

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key account personnel and relevant functions in order to support selling market development service efforts and clinical programs.

• Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organizations sales plans to increase market share.

• Assesses need for the addition of new selling programs and processes conducts competitive analysis and implements strategies.

• Coaches sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organizations products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelors degree

• Proven people management or coaching experience preferably with establishing and motivating a sales team

• Solid knowledge of Business Planning

• Expert understanding of internal workings of hospitals labs/ theatres / departments / key influencers and tender process

• Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business priorities
