Synergie Australia is partnering with a well-established logistics and warehousing organisation to appoint an experienced Senior Forklift Driver / Team Leader to join their operations team in Kingsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional looking to take the next step in their career combining forklift operation with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

The important parts:

Pay: $70000 - $75000 Superannuation Permanent Full-Time Position
Hours: Monday-Friday Day Shift Immediate Start Available
Location: Kingsgrove Sydney NSW

What you will be required to do:

As a Senior Forklift Driver / Team Leader you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations while providing guidance and support to team members.

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently across warehouse operations.
  • Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving dispatch and stock movements.
  • Lead by example and support team members to achieve operational targets.
  • Assist with workflow planning and task allocation across the warehouse team.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and stock management practices.
  • Promote and uphold workplace health and safety standards.
  • Support training and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as required.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
  • Have proven experience operating forklifts within a warehouse transport or logistics environment.
  • Demonstrate previous leadership experience or possess the capability to step into a team leadership role.
  • Have strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
  • Be confident leading by example and supporting team performance.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Display a proactive reliable and hands-on work ethic.
  • Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
