The role is responsible for:
Minimum requirements:
- Demonstratable experience in the design and manufacture of precision part assemblies and/or equipment design (8 years)
- Experience leading a team (minimum 4 years) of diverse experience and skills levels. Ability to communicate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the business including Production and Engineering so as to dynamically prioritise and allocate tasks
- A tertiary degree qualification in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
Ideal requirements:
- Design or development of high-precision optical opto-mechanical or electronic equipment tools or products.
- Understanding of Verification and Validation processes under ISO13485.
- Understanding of machine safety code AS 4024
