About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our R&D & Government Incentives team in Brisbane.

Our R&D team has established itself as a leading player in the local market partnering with organisations across agribusiness manufacturing software and life sciences to maximise access to government incentives navigate complex legislation and support innovation-led growth.

As a Manager you will lead a portfolio of clients build trusted relationships and deliver high-quality advisory services. You will play a key role in driving client outcomes supporting the growth of the practice and mentoring junior team members while continuing to strengthen your leadership and commercial capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements to identify and optimise tax incentives and government grants based on innovative technology activities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships delivering exceptional service and strategic advice

• Interpret and apply relevant legislation to assess eligible R&D activities and expenditure

• Act as the main contact for finance and technical stakeholders ensuring effective information sharing and collaboration

• Provide coaching and support to junior team members

• Partner with the leadership team to meet practice goals and contribute to business development initiatives

About You

• 4 years experience in R&D Tax ideally within a Big 4 or Mid-tier environment

• Strong client advisory and relationship management skills

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team

• Comfortable working with technical concepts and translating them for different audiences
