Advertising Sales Representative

About the Role

As an Advertising Sales Representative youll play a pivotal role in selling advertising for sa moves printed magazine and digital channels. Youll represent the RAA brand in the local market forging strong connections with South Australias leading organisations. Reporting to the Managing Editor youll also coordinate advertising bookings materials and invoicing to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a part-time position offering 22.8 hours per week and youll need to be flexible with your hours to meet business needs.

What Youll Do

Drive Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and exceed sales targets for both external clients and partner advertising.

Build Key Relationships: Manage client expectations present tailored advertising solutions and foster partnerships with iconic SA brands.

Coordinate Advertisements: Track bookings manage artwork approvals draft contracts and invoices and ensure flawless execution of ad placements.

Grow New Revenue Streams: Explore opportunities to sell content writing advertorial and content strategy services to RAA partners and industry contacts.

Analyse & Report: Keep stakeholders updated on advertising performance industry trends and sales data insights.

What Were Looking For

Tertiary qualifications in sales advertising or a related field (desirable).

Proven experience in advertising sales or business development.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Strong financial acumen and sound analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Sound knowledge of the Australian advertising industry and market trends.

Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365) Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) and advertising processes.
