Job Duties

• Deliver high quality psychiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and community healthcare settings.
• Support advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to psychiatry trainees throughout accredited training programs.
• Contribute to teaching activities and registrar education within the psychiatry training program.
• Support governance activities that strengthen clinical education and training quality.
• Act as a liaison between psychiatry trainees and organisational leadership teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver integrated mental healthcare services.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must be eligible as postgraduate year seven or higher by February 2027.
• Applicants must be current trainees within an accredited Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists training program.
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in psychiatric assessment and patient management are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Candidates should demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and teaching abilities.
• Strong organisational and clinical decision-making skills are highly valued.
