Remuneration: $41.22 – $57.88 per hour + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Job Description

The Complex Medical & Oncology Ward at Liverpool Hospital offers a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to delivering exceptional complex medical and oncology care. You will work within a fast‑paced, dynamic multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to develop broad clinical skills specific to complex medical and oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing with demonstrated experience in a complex medical and oncology setting.
• Work a 24‑7 rotating roster, including weekend and night shifts.
• Perform excellent clinical assessment, paying close attention to detail and responding effectively in a fast‑paced acute care setting.
• Communicate effectively, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain teamwork and active listening skills.
• Commit to continuous learning, professional development and evidence‑informed practice.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Experience managing complex patients and ensuring safe, patient‑centred care, including recognising and responding to deterioration.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex needs.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and active listening skills.

Selection Criteria

• Availability to work across a 24‑7 rotating roster (including weekend and night shifts).
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients and families.
• Relevant experience in acute care nursing and complex medical/oncology settings.
• Evidence of continuous learning and commitment to professional development.
