Wilmar Sugar & Renewables is looking for a Rigger / Scaffolder to join our team at Plane Creek Mill in Sarina.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our site safe, productive and running smoothly, delivering rigging and scaffolding services across maintenance and operational activities.

This position is year-round day work, with some weekend work and overtime as required.

Your Role in Action

• Deliver Rigging & Scaffolding Services – Carry out rigging and scaffolding activities across maintenance and operational work.


• Keep It Compliant – Manage scaffold registers and maintain accurate records of inspections, equipment and training.


• Manage Equipment – Identify, tag and coordinate the repair or replacement of out-of-service rigging and scaffolding equipment.


• Put Safety First – Inspect, maintain and test rigging equipment and ensure any faults are reported and addressed.


• Keep the Team Moving – Support tradespeople and production teams with plant maintenance and other site activities.


• Share Your Knowledge – Provide guidance and support to team members and help maintain high standards across the site.

Your Winning Combination

We’re looking for an experienced and safety-focused Rigger / Scaffolder who takes pride in doing a great job.

You’ll ideally have:

• Current High Risk Work Licences – Scaffolding (SI), Rigging (RI) and Dogging (DG).


• Demonstrated experience in an industrial, maintenance or similar environment.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• A proactive approach to safety.


• The ability to organise and coordinate multiple tasks.


• A strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done safely.

Additional licences such as Forklift, Mobile Crane, Skid Steer, Gantry Crane or HR Licence will be highly regarded.
