About Us
System Performance Support (SPS) is a branch within NSW Health that partners with health service executives, clinicians, and other Ministry teams to improve the performance and sustainability of health services across the state. Specifically, you will be joining the State Operational Data Store (ODS) Program. The ODS Program develops dashboards and digital tools to monitor performance, including the Patient Flow Portal, which is NSW Health’s enterprise system for managing health system performance in real time including patient flow and care coordination.

What You Will Do
Lead the management and governance of the PMO and Delivery Excellence functions to evaluate and optimise program performance, including continuous improvement.Champion emerging technology including artificial intelligence and data analytic platforms to optimise team productivity, the quality of solutions delivered and the implementation of those solutions.Develop key deliverables including but not limited to Business Cases, Statement of Requirements / Works, Change Impact Assessments, Status Reports, Risk and Issue Registers and Information Management Strategies.Manage the process to prioritise initiatives, allocate and re-allocate resources, and prepare deliverables for different Governance Committees, working with other Senior Managers and Project Officers to define dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and quality standards.Facilitate collaboration, communication, and coordination amongst the ODS Program Team and other stakeholders to foster a culture of trust, accountability, and excellence within the Program.About You
Over 10 years of experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager in large, complex multi-disciplinary organisations.More than 5 years of experience planning and coordinating program activities, leading and supporting program teams to foster collaboration and coordination across stakeholders.Extensive experience in evaluating and optimising program performance by implementing PMO and continuous improvement opportunities.Proven track record in managing full software development releases using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies, focusing on patient flow, emergency care, virtual care, and / or patient billing functions.High level of documentation skills with extensive experience developing a range of documents including Business Cases, Statement of Requirements / Works, Functional Design Specifications, Process Maps, Gap Analysis, Change Impact Assessments, and Data Dictionaries in a public health setting.How to Apply
