The Roles

• Senior Associate commercial IP/IT Lawyer in a boutique working for local and international brand names covering general commercial, m&a, joint ventures and other commercialisation structures as well as IT and technology contracts, including technology procurement and project agreements, SaaS agreements, software licensing and support agreements and technology outsourcing agreements.
• Top Tier client – Band 1 TMT practice group looking for a high-calibre Associate or Senior Associate IT Lawyer to join either the Melbourne or Sydney team. This is a fantastic role for somebody looking to work in a collaborative and high-performing team, solving challenging problems for a range of Australia's top companies, tech sector multinationals and high-growth enterprises. You will work side-by-side with clients across all sectors (including highly regulated sectors such as financial services, energy and health) as they invest in tech-led innovation while confronting the challenges of a constantly changing legal and regulatory landscape
• Upcoming In-house IT Lawyer within a brand-name Australian data company. The role will suit a 4-8 year lawyer with a top 20 firm or ASX background and will involve the review, drafting and and negotiation of commercial agreements including partner, IT/software, service and marketing contracts, as well as day-to-day advice on privacy, consumer competition and intellectual property matters. The role is stand-alone, and there will be significant interface with the Product, Strategy, Marketing, Sales and AI teams. Package of up to 200K plus bonus. Suit applicant with a top 20 Law Firm background.
• International firm with a local focus on infrastructure is seeking an experienced Lawyer to join its TMT team in Melbourne. You will have the chance to advise leading Australian and multinational clients operating in a range of sectors on complex and high-profile matters across privacy, cybersecurity, digital regulation and technology, media and communications. Your role will include a diverse mix of advisory, regulatory and incident response work, including significant cross-border matters in the APAC region, as well as supporting transactions, digital transformation projects and compliance program uplifts.
• Top Tier Client – Leading team looking for an IT Lawyer working with a diverse group of clients including government and telecoms. Working across acquisition, licensing and/or supply of large-scale hardware, government procurement, data protection, privacy and cyber-security, and brand protection and digital rights management.
