The Role
JPS Medical Recruitment is looking for Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars seeking a broad clinical role within a supportive training environment at a major regional referral hospital.

This position offers the opportunity to develop your skills across both obstetrics and gynaecology while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to the care of women across the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services, participating in acute and elective care under the supervision of experienced Specialist Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

You will be involved in the assessment and management of obstetric and gynaecological presentations, labour ward, theatre, antenatal and postnatal care, and emergency presentations appropriate to your level of training. The role provides excellent exposure to varied pathology within a busy regional service while encouraging progressive clinical responsibility supported by senior medical staff.

Training & Development
Training is a key focus of this position, offering Registrars the opportunity to further develop their clinical, operative and decision-making skills within a well-supported environment.
Subject to your level of experience, you can expect exposure to:

• Labour ward and intrapartum management.
• Antenatal and postnatal care.
• Emergency gynaecology presentations.
• General gynaecological surgery and theatre participation.
• Outpatient clinics across obstetrics and gynaecology.
• Regular Consultant supervision and bedside teaching.
• Multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical education.
• Participation in teaching, quality improvement and audit activities where available.

Requirements

• Eligible for registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience appropriate for an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar position.
