Job description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to be responsible for supporting the day to day operational, logistics and workplace activities at AdvanCell’s Richlands site. The role is critical to ensuring laboratories, teams and workplace services are supported through the efficient coordination of deliveries, shipments, inventory, procurement administration and general site operations. Working closely with the broader facilities team, you provide hands on coordination across logistics, laboratory support, supplier coordination, workplace services and operational administration in a fast paced and highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day to day logistics and operational support activities across the Richlands site.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, freight, shipments and courier activities, including coordination with external logistics providers and suppliers.
  • Support domestic and international shipping activities for laboratory materials, equipment, operationalsupplies and company products, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery coordination.
  • Assist with procurement administration activities, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, invoiceprocessing and order tracking.
  • Support inventory and consumables management processes, including stock monitoring, stockreplenishment, storage organisation and inventory record maintenance.
  • Coordinate receipt, unpacking and distribution of laboratory, operational and office supplies across siteteams.
  • Provide operational support to laboratory and technical teams to assist with day to day site functionality andworkplace readiness.
  • Maintain organised storage areas, operational stock locations and general site presentation standards.
  • Support contractor coordination, visitor management and general workplace operations activities as required.
  • Assist with waste management coordination, site services and operational compliance activities across the facility.
  • Support workplace health and safety practices by following site procedures, reporting hazards and assisting with operational safety initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, logistics documentation and tracking systems.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, service providers and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, procurement administration and site operations.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the facilities team as required.

Experience, Education & Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, operations coordination, procurement administration, warehouse coordination or workplace support roles, ideally within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing or related operational environments.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating deliveries, freight, inventory or supplier activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational and logistics records.
  • Service oriented approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across operational, laboratory and technical teams.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and systems administration skills, with the ability to learn procurement or inventory management skills.
