Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar – RANZCOG Accredited

The Role
We are keen to connect with Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars interested in joining a regional referral hospital in New South Wales.
This role offers broad exposure across obstetrics and gynaecology within a busy regional service, working alongside experienced specialists in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Registrars can expect a mix of antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecology care, with opportunities to develop procedural skills while managing a diverse patient population under appropriate supervision.
The position is well suited to doctors seeking high-volume regional experience within a teaching hospital that supports ongoing professional development and progression through specialist training.
The Hospital
This is a Level 5 regional referral hospital providing a comprehensive range of specialist services across Northern New South Wales. Confirmed services include:

• Women's Care Unit
• Operating theatre suite
• Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit
• Emergency Department
• Paediatric services
• Medical imaging and specialist outpatient services
• Strong links with regional specialist services and multidisciplinary care

Training & Development

• RANZCOG accredited training site.
• Exposure across both obstetrics and gynaecology within a regional referral setting.
• Direct consultant supervision and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Opportunities to participate in departmental teaching, clinical learning and ongoing professional development where available.
• Experience managing a broad regional case mix that supports progressive clinical responsibility.

Requirements

• Eligible for AHPRA registration.
• Relevant Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience appropriate to Registrar level.
• RANZCOG training status or eligibility as applicable.
• Professional references.
• International Medical Graduates assessed as partially or substantially comparable are encouraged to make contact.
