About the Role

\n

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to play a key role in a large-scale enterprise data transformation program. This role will lead the design and delivery of a modern cloud-based data platform, enabling advanced analytics, improved decision-making, and long-term scalability.

\n

You will work across multiple workstreams, partnering with delivery teams and stakeholders to transition legacy data environments into a modern Lakehouse architecture.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead the design and implementation of Databricks-based data platforms
\n
• Oversee the development of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and integration solutions
\n
• Drive agile delivery, coordinating technical teams across multiple streams
\n
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
\n
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability and security requirements
\n
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies across delivery
\n
• Work closely with architecture, cloud and security teams
\n
• Support the migration of legacy data platforms to modern environments
\n

About You

You are a hands‐on technical leader with strong data engineering experience and a passion for delivering scalable, modern data solutions.

Essential Experience

\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead / Lead Data Engineer / Data Platform Lead
\n
• Strong hands‐on experience with:\n
  \n
  • Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
  \n
  • ETL/ELT pipelines and data engineering
  \n
\n
• Experience delivering enterprise data or analytics projects
\n
• Strong AWS or cloud platform experience
\n
• Demonstrated experience in Agile delivery environments
\n
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
\n
• Proven ability to manage risks, issues and dependencies
\n

\n

Desirable Experience

\n

\n
• Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, SQL)
\n
• Exposure to Lakehouse architectures or modern data platforms
\n
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments
\n
• Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors
\n
