About the Role \n
The Maintenance and Grounds Officer position plays a critical role in maintaining Congress facilities through carrying out a broad range of maintenance and grounds tasks to maintain Congress facilities in Alice Springs and remote communities to a high standard.
What are we looking for? \n
- \n
- Practical experience and / or knowledge in building maintenance and grounds tasks. \n
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well with colleagues. \n
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a challenging environment. \n
- Knowledge of safe chemical use, tool use and safe work practices. \n
- Ability and willingness to be on-call including weekends as a part of a shared roster. \n
- Ability and willingness to travel to and work in remote Aboriginal communities, including overnight. \n
- Person of Aboriginal descent; that self identifies and is accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal community. \n
- Current NT Drivers Licence. \n
