We're looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed‐term contract based at our Melbourne Head Office.

As our Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across the AVC Group throughout this 6‐month contract period.

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n
• Processing supplier invoices through our AP invoicing system and ERP
\n
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues arising from the scan/capture system
\n
• Preparing regular supplier reconciliations, particularly for high-volume vendors
\n
• Responding to queries and payment requests from internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Preparing EFT payment runs on a bi‐weekly basis
\n
• Supporting the Accounts Payable Manager with ad‐hoc AP tasks
\n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role
\n
• Strong understanding of AP systems, processes and high-volume processing
\n
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong overall Microsoft Suite competency
\n
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage a busy inbox
\n
• A proactive, positive attitude and confidence to make decisions
\n
• Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Finance (desired but not essential)
\n
