This role sits within the Customer Office at CFS, as part of the Employer and Partnerships team in the Brand and Customer Engagement (B&CE) function. The B&CE team shapes and delivers brand, marketing and customer engagement strategies that drive customer outcomes and growth across Direct and Employer segments, supported by enterprise centres of excellence including Data & Analytics, Digital and Corporate Communications.

The Marketing Manager, Partnerships is responsible for executing the go‐to‐market strategy for CFS's expansion into the under‐50 employee segment. You will play a critical role in bringing strategy to life, translating priorities into clear plans, campaigns and always‐on programs, and owning their end‐to‐end delivery. This role is responsible for the design of a modern, digitally‐led acquisition approach while delivering measurable commercial outcomes. You will drive rapid experimentation, scale what works, and build a repeatable acquisition engine tailored to SME audiences.

This role is Sydney based and is a 12 Month Max Term role.

Your Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Define and lead the go ‐ to ‐ market strategy for the under ‐ 50 employee segment, including segmentation, targeting, positioning and channel strategy
  • \n
  • Translate business growth objectives into a clear, actionable acquisition plan with defined success metrics
  • \n
  • Shape the Partnerships value proposition and messaging to resonate with SME employers and their ecosystems
  • \n
  • Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across partnerships, digital channels and emerging routes to market
  • \n
  • Lead end‐to‐end campaign development and delivery - from planning through to execution, optimisation and post‐implementation review
  • \n
  • Lead social and digital partnerships strategy, with a focus on LinkedIn and emerging SME‐relevant channels
  • \n
  • Partner with Digital and MarTech teams to optimise journeys, UX and conversion pathways
  • \n
  • Establish a high‐velocity test‐and‐learn framework across campaigns and funnel stages
  • \n
  • Define clear success metrics upfront and embed a strong performance discipline across all activity
  • \n
  • Maintain high standards of quality, consistency and customer experience across all activity
  • \n

Your Capability and Experience

\n

    \n
  • Solid experience in marketing, ideally within financial services (superannuation, wealth, banking, retirement/investments).
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing for financial products or customer segments, with end‐to‐end accountability.
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable growth outcomes and ROI.
  • \n
  • Ability to translate business strategy into marketing strategy (segmentation/targeting, proposition development, forecasting, integrated planning).
  • \n
  • Strong digital and data capability across channels and platforms (CRM/email, paid digital, social, search/display, web journeys).
  • \n
  • Experience building data and insight‐led strategies, personalisation, triggered programs and rigorous optimisation (test/learn, dashboards, performance reporting).
  • \n
  • Understanding of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; able to lead complex work through orchestration.
  • \n
  • Strong project management and delivery discipline; ability to manage through a complex problems and a changing environment.
  • \n
  • Comfortable operating in regulated environments with a proactive risk mindset.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - able to make complex topics accessible, clear and compelling
  • \n
