Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within a long-standing and highly respected water management company providing water treatment/hygiene and legionella services to clients throughout the UK. This company is currently recruiting for a hardworking and knowledgeable Water Hygiene Engineer based in or around the Croydon area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong technical water hygiene background and will be experienced in carrying out routine water hygiene duties such as cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold-water systems as well as routine sampling and analysis. Applications will be considered from Dartford, Bromley, Maidstone and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience of working in a water hygiene role within the water treatment industry.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
\n
• Competent with Microsoft office package.
\n
• Full driving licence.
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers.
\n
• Water heater, tank and calorifier inspection.
\n
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
\n
• Install and maintain dosing systems.
\n
• Inspection and disinfection of CWST.
\n
• Legionella and TVC sampling.
\n
• Showerhead cleans & descales.
\n
• Maintenance and servicing of TMVs.
\n
