DOF is seeking experienced and qualified Marine Cooks for current and future job opportunities to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work offshore and support our crew by delivering high quality meals and culinary experiences onboard DOF vessels.

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Preparing and cooking meals while supervising catering crew and menu planning.
\n
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene across galley, fridges, freezers, storage areas, and mess rooms.
\n
• Communicate effectively with all crew and demonstrated commitment to working safely according to the company’s regulations.
\n

Requirements \n
\n

\n
• Hold a current Marine Cook certificate of proficiency.
\n
• Previous experience working offshore on a vessel.
\n
• Nationally recognised food hygiene certificate (for meal preparation and stores).
\n
• Strong focus on Health, Hygiene, Safety and Environmental practices.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with intermediate computer skills and knowledge.
\n
• Highly service minded and solution oriented.
\n
• Ability to travel at short notice with Australian Work rights.
\n

This position will be based offshore in Australian waters with occasional opportunities internationally.
