Join our team as a Geomatics Survey Specialist
\n Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Geomatics Survey Specialists to join our high-performing team Survey & Inspection team on a permanent basis.

\n

Primarily you will be working on:

\n

\n
• Project planning including hardware/software needs.
\n
• Configuring and troubleshooting survey hardware and software suites.
\n
• Maintain functional integrity of NAS drives, dongles, HDDs, Azure storage and VMs, and client-specific applications.
\n
• Manage vessel-based data acquisition and oversee the end-to-end transfer of data to office, cloud, and archive systems.
\n
• Process complex offshore datasets, including multibeam, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, bathymetry, and navigation.
\n
• Maintain rigorous data integrity and ensure all databases reflect real-time project status.
\n
• Lead the preparation of final reports and perform technical reviews of peer reports.
\n
• Continuous improvement of our current systems & exploring emerging technologies
\n

In this role, you will be the bridge between complex field data and high-quality project deliverables. This role will involve managing end-to-end geomatics workflows in accordance to industry compliance and collaborating with project teams to maintain our reputation for excellence and HSEQ integrity. Requirements \n
\n

\n
• Degree or Diploma in Hydrographic Surveying / Geophysics, Geoscience Or a closely related discipline.
\n
• Minimum 5+ years in offshore data processing experience with experience on complex offshore survey projects.
\n
• IMCA Competence for a Geomatic Surveyor.
\n
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting survey hardware and software suites.
\n
• Proficient in GIS & Data Management - Strong Knowledge of GIS, charting tools, cloud-based workflows, and QA/QC methodologies.
\n
• Skilled in processing multibeam, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, and navigation.
\n
• Highly confident, self-motivated, self-disciplined person with sound management and organisational skills.
\n
• Must be able to perform and achieve at a high level with minimal supervision.
\n
• A strong understanding and commitment to HSEQ.
\n

Location: Perth CBD, Western Australia with flexible hybrid options available.
\n Travel to remote or offshore work sites/vessels required from time to time where needed
