What you’ll be doing \n

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and ensure the secure, efficient, and reliable operation of business‑critical platforms. This role requiresstrong expertise across Microsoft Azure services and enterprise administration, with a focus on scalability,governance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities \n

\n
• Oversee the design, configuration, and management of Azure cloud environments, including the deployment and maintenance of Azure Virtual Machines (VMs)
\n
• Administer and manage Entra ID accounts, ensuring secure access and identity governance
\n
• Configure, maintain, and optimise Microsoft Intune for device and application management across the enterprise
\n
• Support and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to provide seamless user access and performance
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor Azure policies to align with organisational standards and
  \n compliance requirements
\n
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for authentication, authorisation, and directory services
\n
• Oversee digital certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and compliance with security standards
\n
• Provide database administration within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity
\n
• Support underlying SAP Infrastructure.
\n

What will make you successful in this role?

Key Requirements \n

• Proven background in engineering and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments
\n
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management using Entra ID and Azure AD
\n
• Hands‑on experience with Intune and AVD in production settings
\n
• Familiarity with policy enforcement, certificate management, and database operationswithin Azure
\n
• Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills
\n
