Forklift Operator role at Hillebrand Gori - A company of DHL. Based in Outer Harbour, SA. As a Forklift Operator, in this full-time role based in Outer Harbour, SA, you will play a crucial part in the freight and cargo forwarding operations of the company, ensuring the seamless Operation and Administration at the warehouse.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Maintenance of Warehouse to ensure internal & surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
\n
• Operating a Forklift and adhering to forklift safety requirements.
\n
• Ensure storage of goods & packaging materials are handled in accordance with Industry standards.
\n
• CHEP Pallet or other owned or hired pallets, control and general stock control processes are adhered to.
\n
• Ensure that customer service and quality targets are met or exceeded.
\n
• Identify areas of cost savings, safety risk and process improvements within the warehouse operation.
\n
• Check all loading plans / photos are completed along with receipt and dispatch paperwork is also issued.
\n
• Ensure all received goods are correctly stored in their designated areas and pallets put away safely.
\n
• Report any major discrepancies to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
\n
• Assist with new developments and business.
\n
• Assist team leader with month end process and weekly closing of financial files.
\n

Qualifications and Skills

• Working knowledge of all warehouse activities and safety rules within Outer Harbour Warehouse operations.
\n
• Driver Licence
\n
• Forklift Licence
\n
• White Card
\n
