Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Health and Safety Business Partner to drive health, safety, and environmental performance across a busy logistics and rail operation. This role is ideal for an experienced safety professional who thrives in hands-on, blue-collar environments, with a passion for improving safety culture, analysing data trends, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Partner with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to embed best practice safety standards across all worksites \n
- Lead incident investigations, trend analysis, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards \n
- Analyse HSE data to develop insights, reports, and proactive safety strategies \n
- Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders and frontline employees on compliance and behavioural safety \n
- Support the implementation of improvement initiatives and foster a strong safety-first culture \n
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, rail safety regulations, and company policies \n
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training, audits, and continuous improvement programs \n

Key Requirements
\n
- \n
- Minimum 5 years\' experience in HSE or WHS roles within logistics, rail, or heavy industry environments \n
- Strong knowledge of rail safety standards, risk management, and compliance frameworks \n
- Proven ability to interpret and analyse safety data to drive measurable improvement \n
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach \n
- Demonstrated experience engaging effectively with operational and blue-collar teams \n
- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) \n
- Enthusiastic and proactive advisor who leads by example and promotes continuous learning \n
- Work within a major logistics and transport organisation \n
