Our Accounting and Advisory Group is focused on helping clients grow through services including business structuring, compliance, financial reporting, tax planning, and cloud-based bookkeeping.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Melbourne-based team. In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality accounting and taxation services. What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and professional accounting advice.
\n
• Prepare financial statements, BAS, and tax returns for companies, trusts, and sole traders.
\n
• Collaborate with bookkeepers, fellow accountants, and client managers to meet client needs.
\n
• Contribute to strategic tax planning and business advisory projects.
\n
• Work with cloud accounting platforms to streamline processes and improve client outcomes.
\n

About You

\n

\n
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, with membership (or working towards) CPA, CAANZ or IPA.
\n
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in public practice, preferably working with small businesses, companies, and trusts.
\n
• Sound understanding of the Australian tax system and accounting standards.
\n
• Proficiency with Xero, Xero Practice Manager or similar cloud-based tools.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and client education.
\n
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple client engagements.
\n
