• Remuneration: $161,241 to $168,919 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $136,251 to $142,738 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Student Experience Manager to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law.

The Student Experience Manager provides strategic leadership for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of student success and experience initiatives across the Faculty of Business and Law. The role is responsible for translating Faculty and University priorities into a coherent, evidence-based portfolio of initiatives spanning the full student lifecycle, from transition and belonging, through progression and completion, to employability and transition to work. The position operates as a professional advisor, partnering closely with academic leaders and professional services to embed a student-centred, data-informed and outcomes-focused approach across the Faculty.

What You Need To Succeed

• Postgraduate qualifications and substantial relevant experience in higher education or a related sector, with demonstrated expertise in student success, transition and engagement.
• Demonstrated knowledge of student lifecycle strategies including belonging, retention, progression and widening participation, informed by national and international best practice.
• Proven ability to design and lead strategic, student-focused initiatives in large, complex organisational environments.
• Extensive experience applying evaluation frameworks and data analysis to inform decision-making, monitor outcomes and produce high-quality reports for senior leaders.
• Demonstrated success in leading and influencing professional teams, combined with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capacity to operate effectively in a high-pressure environment, prioritise competing demands, and provide sound professional advice with integrity.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
