About the role
Reporting to the HCS Claiming and Billing Team Leader this role is responsible for supporting end-to-end revenue and billing activities across Home and Community Services. You will process financial transactions support customer account activity and assist with reporting reconciliations and audit requirements.
Process HCS billing files statements receipts direct debits and refunds accurately and on time
Support customer admission and departure processes in line with funding and legislative requirements
Reconcile customer fee accounts and maintain accurate customer master data
Assist with month-end processing reporting activities and finance reconciliationsRespond to customer and stakeholder enquiries via phone and email
Support internal and external audit activities through accurate records and documentationContribute to process improvement business planning and finance-related projects
Work collaboratively with the wider Finance team to support service excellence
About you
Experience in billing revenue administration finance operations accounts receivable or similar
Strong experience working with high volumes of financial data in a complex or multi-site organisation
High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines
Experience using computerised financial systems with strong data entry and reconciliation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills highly regarded
Strong communication customer service and stakeholder management skillsAbility to follow processes work collaboratively and identify improvement opportunities
Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration desirable; aged care or community services experience advantageous
Permanent Australian working rights such as Australian citizenship or permanent residency are required due to system access requirements for this role
