Casual FIFO Security Officer – Darwin NT or Cairns QLD

Location: Fly In / Fly Out from Darwin or Cairns

\n

Role: Casual positions with potential to move to full time, 7/7 roster, 12‐hour shifts.

\n

Potential Earnings: up to $110,000 p.a. (subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors)

\n

Duties & Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors & client
\n
• Pass a comprehensive pre‐employment medical, and drug and alcohol screen
\n
• Gatehouse duties
\n
• Proactively monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems
\n
• Conduct building and camp patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
\n
• Identify and report hazards and building faults for rectification
\n
• Respond to emergency situations
\n
• Contractor management duties
\n
• Ad‐hoc duties
\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
\n
• Must be local to Darwin or Cairns
\n
• Full working rights and availability
\n
• Willing to support and step up into other roles as required
\n
• Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
\n
• Ability to work in rotational roster (nights/days/weekends)
\n
• Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights
\n
• Have a Northern Territory Security Licence
\n
• Have a full valid Australian Driver's Licence (C)
\n
• Have an RSA
\n
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
\n
• Demonstrated ability in use of computers and security related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes)
\n
• Availability and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
\n
• Crowd Control endorsement
\n
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
\n
