About the Role

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to lead culturally safe, specialist family violence legal services across a designated region. You can be based at any of the following locations above with relation support offered.

\n

Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure high-quality legal practice, and maintain a small caseload of complex matters. This role combines people leadership, operational oversight, and strategic contribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage legal teams across multiple sites
\n
• Supervise and mentor lawyers and support staff
\n
• Maintain a small caseload of complex legal matters
\n
• Oversee service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement
\n

What You'll Bring

\n

\n
• Qualified legal practitioner (or eligible) with unrestricted Victorian Practising Certificate
\n
• Minimum 3 years experience in family law, family violence, child protection, or victims of crime assistance
\n
• Strong leadership experience managing legal or multidisciplinary teams
\n
• Ability to work with vulnerable clients and manage complex needs
\n
• Experience in community or not-for-profit legal sector
\n
• Policy, advocacy, or law reform experience
\n
• Knowledge of culturally safe practice frameworks
\n
