We are seeking to hire a operationally savvy, hands-on Practice Manager to lead a busy, well-established, Specialist Medical Centre based in the Bulimba / Balmoral precinct. The role will work closely with the Directors, consulting Specialists, clinical & administrative teams, oversee day to day operations and ensure the Practice runs smoothly and is fully compliant. The Practice Manager also plays a pivotal role in supporting all team members, ensuring service excellence and first-class patient care.

This is a dynamic, multifaceted position where you will wear many hats—manager, problem-solver, mentor, and change agent, and no two days will be the same!!

\n

Key tasks will include

\n

\n
• Operational Management: ensuring the seamless daily flow of the practice with a strong focus on efficiency and patient experience;
\n
• Team Leadership: ranging from recruitment, training, development and enabling admin, clinical, medical and support staff perform at their best;
\n
• Reporting & Bookkeeping: revenue & activity reporting and assisting with budgeting billing and AR as required;
\n
• Compliance & Risk: uphold best-practice standards in patient privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance;
\n
• Patient Engagement: elevating the patient journey and experience through responsive, compassionate service delivery;
\n
• Strategic Development: partnering with Directors to develop growth strategies and identify areas for innovation and improvement, and
\n
• Marketing: driving patient growth through creative marketing and GP/Other referral relationships.
\n
• Strong Operational / Practice Management experience ideally within a healthcare setting ( clinical/ healthcare/ nursing / allied/ medial admin preferred).
\n
• High-level understanding of EHRs, practice management systems, privacy legislation, and compliance frameworks.
\n
• Proven ability to lead teams with empathy, accountability, and collaboration.
\n
• Strategic thinking with hands-on execution—no task is too big or small.
\n
• Willingness to undertake marketing and/or business development experience in a healthcare context (desirable).
