About the Role:

As a Senior Lawyer, your role will include:

- Leading and managing complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. \n
- Advising clients on deal structures, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and risk mitigation. \n
- Negotiating and drafting transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements. \n
- Providing strategic advice to clients on corporate governance and restructuring matters. \n
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, contributing to their development and the team's success. \n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support business development efforts. \n

About You:

- Extensive Experience: Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience in M&A or corporate law, ideally from a leading firm or in-house legal team. \n
- Technical Expertise: Proven ability to handle complex transactions from inception to completion. \n
- Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of market trends and the ability to deliver commercially sound advice. \n
- Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring teams and managing client relationships effectively. \n
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for clear, concise, and persuasive advice. \n
- Qualification: Admission as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand \n
