About the role

This Brisbane based position provides specialist HSE support to the Head of HSECT for the Muswellbrook site transition from active mining to closure and rehabilitation by coordinating compliance activities, tracking obligations and actions and supporting regulator engagement in line with Development Consent, Environmental Protection Licence and NSW regulatory requirements.
\n
The role works closely with the Project Manager, H&S Consultant, internal stakeholders, contractors and regulators to support risk management, reporting, evidence collation and system updates throughout the transition period. The role operates with a high level of autonomy within governance and approval frameworks, providing flexible, short term support aligned to regulatory closure timeframes.

Previous HSE Advisor operational experience working at a mine site would be highly beneficial as then you could hit the ground running. Travel to the Muswellbrook site would be required on a ad-hoc basis.
