We're looking for a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join our high-performing Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on analysing data, uncovering trends and partnering with stakeholders to drive smarter business decisions. You'll play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis across a large and growing national organisation.
As our Financial Analyst, you'll work closely with our FP&A Manager and Finance team to deliver accurate reporting, commercial insights and financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the business.
You'll partner with leaders across the organisation, contribute to major planning cycles and help shape the financial direction of the business.
Deliver meaningful financial insights that help leaders understand business performance and make informed decisions.
Partner with teams across the business to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor financial results, identify trends and opportunities and provide commercially focused recommendations.
Produce regular management reporting and contribute to executive and Board reporting packs.
Support the month-end reporting cycle, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and reliable.
Assist with statutory reporting obligations and maintain compliance with relevant reporting requirements.
Track capital expenditure and cash flow, providing visibility over investment performance and project spend.
Prepare financial models, dashboards and presentations that communicate key business metrics.
Collaborate with operational stakeholders to provide financial support, analysis and performance insights.
You'll be an analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems, working with data and collaborating with people across the business.
Ideally, you'll have:
2-3 years' experience in a Financial Analyst, FP&A, or similar finance role.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
Demonstrated experience using large ERP systems is essential.
Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a passion for working with data.
Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
The ability to confidently communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
CPA or CA qualification (or currently working towards) is highly regarded.
